\nHave you ever dreamed of flying high in the sky and reaching the stars? Well, India just made that dream come true again after 41 years<\/strong>! And guess what? The hero of this incredible mission is Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla<\/strong>, a fighter pilot turned astronaut who is now orbiting the Earth at 7.5 km per second<\/strong>! \ud83c\udf0c\u2728<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83d\ude80 Who is Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla?<\/h3>\n

Born on October 10, 1985<\/span>, in Lucknow<\/span>, Shubhanshu Shukla is a brave officer from the Indian Air Force<\/span>. Since 2006, he has flown some of the fastest jets in the sky \u2014 MiGs, Sukhois, Jaguars, Dorniers<\/span>, and more. With over 2,000 flying hours<\/span>, he has now taken India\u2019s dreams to outer space<\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s the second Indian<\/span> ever to go into space, after Rakesh Sharma<\/span> who flew in 1984. But there’s a big first \u2014 Group Captain Shukla is the first Indian to go to NASA\u2019s International Space Station (ISS)<\/span>! \ud83c\udf20<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udef0\ufe0f What is the Axiom-4 Mission?<\/h3>\n

The mission is called Axiom-4 (Ax-4)<\/span>, a commercial spaceflight<\/span> led by the U.S. company Axiom Space<\/span> in collaboration with:<\/span><\/p>\n

    The spacecraft launched on 26 June 2025<\/span>, from Kennedy Space Center, Florida<\/span>, at 12:01 PM India time, using the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket<\/span> and Crew Dragon capsule<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    And here\u2019s the coolest part \u2014 Captain Shukla is the pilot of<\/span><\/span> the mission<\/strong>! \ud83d\udc68\u200d\u2708\ufe0f\ud83d\ude80<\/p>\n

      India is preparing for Gaganyaan<\/strong> \u2014 our very own manned space mission, expected in 2027<\/strong>. Group Captain Shukla\u2019s journey is a giant leap<\/strong> towards that. ISRO has even announced plans for:<\/p>\n
